AK is a cattle veterinarian who has been working in clinical practice since 2017. She is passionate about her daily work in practice, where she primarily focuses on cattle and prioritises emergency cases whenever possible. Alongside her core work, she values variety in her caseload and enjoys working with beef cattle, sheep, goats, hobby pigs, and other less common livestock species.
She has a particular interest in beef production systems and the way cattle are managed, especially in relation to grazing systems and nature conservation. The challenges associated with outdoor livestock and extensive production systems are a key area of her professional focus.
Anne Katrine is always open to new projects and collaborations. She particularly enjoys sharing knowledge and regularly teaches farmers and farm staff on topics such as cattle handling, workplace safety, and responsible use of veterinary medicines together with spotting sign of sick animals.
In addition to her clinical work, Anne Katrine is involved in several professional activities. From autumn 2026, she will begin helping to teach veterinary students at Denmark’s new veterinary education programme in Jutland. She is also actively engaged in professional policy work and serves as vice chair of the cattle division within the Danish Veterinary Association (DDD).
