VetSalus provides opportunities for farm animal veterinary professionals across the globe.

Do you have what it takes to be a VetSalus consultant?

  • Are you a livestock/farm veterinarian, or other technical specialist with expertise in livestock health and welfare? (essential)

  • Do you have a minimum of 5 years experience in your specialist field (essential)

  • Are you able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders (in writing and in person) (essential)

  • Are you a competent clinician with a minimum of three years experience in practice (desirable)

  • Do you have a higher qualification in your specialist area (desirable)

  • Have you undergone formal training in presentation and educational skills (such as ‘Train the Trainer’, desirable)

  • Have you been involved in research projects (desirable)

  • Have you completed one of the VetSalus online sustainability courses A Veterinary Approach to Sustainable Food & Farming or Livestock and Climate Change - A Veterinary Perspective (desirable)

  • Are you aware of Vet Sustain Veterinary Sustainability Goals and how they align to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (desirable)
